Whether it’s a Notre Dame Football weekend, reunion, graduation, or simply a short trip to the area, bring your family and friends to our home just down the street from Notre Dame campus. 

Located at 1921 Oak Park Drive just steps east of the famous Linebacker Lounge and five minutes from the bustling Joyce South tailgate lots, our recently remodeled three-bedroom, 1-bath home covers 1,300 square feet and features an open floor plan with a huge fenced backyard on a quiet street.

O’Malley Alley can include an upon-arrival, up-to-date discussion on all things Notre Dame Football with Irish Illustrated Senior Editor Tim O’Malley, followed by your group’s relaxing weekend escape in our home adorned with Irish paraphernalia past and present. 

With a layout that’s perfect for weekend entertaining, our 3-bedroom, 1-bath retreat sleeps up 10 at present with the possibility to grow to 12 during the 2024 Football Season. Our spacious backyard is perfect for grilling, lawn games, football, and kids activities, and includes a fire pit for evening and game day festivities. 

For those familiar with the area, we are located on a side street just off Angela, east of The Linebacker and west of Mandarin House Chinese/Walgreens off of Angela Boulevard.

OUR INDOOR SPACE

The goal of our property is to augment your stay with a full Notre Dame experience as decor and amenities are thoughtfully appointed, celebrating Notre Dame Football history past and present.

Game weekend festivities—whether for a getaway, reunion, or family football weekend—is our focus, and our open floor plan allows for easy conversation, camaraderie and college football enjoyment on our 56–inch television. 

Our common area includes a 6-to-10 person dining table (with extension leaves on site), a breakfast nook, and comfortable sofa area to unwind. Additional seating is readily available. 

BEDROOMS (3)

Our pair of back bedrooms are located just off of the common area and feature a King Bed in Bedroom #1, plus a twin bed and twin trundle bed in #2. On the opposite side of our common area near the side-door entrance is our *largest bedroom, #3, adorned by two bunk beds—the bottoms both holding fullmattresses and the top a pair of twins as well. 

Back bedroom #2 includes a desk and art supplies for kids or can serve as an adult laptop area while the home provides ample opportunity to plug-in and work remotely as needed, including quality Wi-Fi in our backyard space. 

A full-size Aerobed is available upon request and easily fits in Bedroom #3 as needed to accommodate a group with several children.

(*At some point this season, the trundle may be changed out to a Queen bed with the trundled twins moving to the bunk room.)

Our newly renovated kitchen features a never-used refrigerator plus the following amenities:

BATHROOM

Our newly-renovated bathroom includes a shower withglass door, a collection of completely new towels for your entire stay, and a spacious vanity. A blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are also provided for your convenience.

The long driveway has two parking lanes and can easily accommodate five cars with street parking likewise available outside the home.

GUEST ACCESS

Self Check-In: Guests will gain access to the property via a keypad. Your special code will be provided the day before check-in.

Access: Guests can access the entire property with the exception of an outdoor shed (for safety purposes) and two owners’ cabinets by the back entry which are locked. A convenient side door key will be left inside the home upon arrival. 

Check-In Time: Guests can check-in anytime after 4:00pm (early check-in may be available upon request). 

Check-Out Time: Guests can check-out anytime before 11:00am (late check-out may available upon request). 

Notre Dame Football Discussion: One of your hosts, Tim O’Malley, Senior Editor at Irish Illustrated, may also be available to meet Friday Afternoon of Notre Dame Football Home Game Weekends upon request and subject to availability.
